Annual Scholarship

In an effort to encourage the study of and develop professionalism in the field of international trade, the Buffalo World Trade Association awards two scholarships annually to students of international trade programs in the Western New York area.

In order to be eligible for the 2010 BWTA International Trade Scholarship, the candidate must be a local college student pursuing the study of International Transportation, Banking, Travel Management or Marketing. The pursuit of a career in these fields is expected. The BWTA College Scholarship Committee will review all applications and award $500.00 each to two of the most deserving students based on a demonstrated interest in international business as well as academic, professional and community accomplishment.
